端午节的起源
端午节TheDragonBoatFestival端午节的由来是中国古代一位满腹才华的诗人屈原。
TheoriginofthissummerfestivalcentersaroundascholarlygovernmentofficialnamedQuYuan.他爱国爱民受人尊敬，却由于被嫉妒而受到陷害，逐渐被皇帝冷落。Hewasagoodandrespectedman,butbecauseofthemisdeedsofjealousrivalsheeventuallyfellintodisfavorintheemperor'scourt.屈原由于无法得到重用，眼看着自己的国家沦陷，于是投江自尽。Unabletoregaintherespectoftheemperor,inhissorrowQuYuanthrewhimselfintotheMiLowriver.汨罗江畔的百姓划船在江中寻找他们尊敬爱戴的屈原，并且将米丢入汨罗江中，使屈原避免蛟龙的伤害。ThelocalpeoplelivingadjacenttotheMiLoRiverrushedintotheirboatstosearchforhimwhilethrowingriceintothewaterstoappeasetheriverdragons.尽管他们当时并没有找到屈原，但是他们的行为直到今天仍然被人们传颂着。AlthoughtheywereunabletofindQuYuan,theireffortsarestillcommemoratedtoday.
